Dublin Day 3 – 18th February

Today started with a walk to the river, to see the other end of town, before we jumped on the train to head off north to Howth.

Caught the 11:36 train, 25 minutes later we were in the small fishing town of Howth. We walked around the harbour, to the lighthouse, snapping away on the camera as we went.

After what was a good 90 minute stroll (not really a brisk walk) we went for lunch in a place called O'Connells. Fish and chips for me, mussels and chips for Suzanne. Service really slow, but good food and great portions.

After lunch we headed into the small town centre, not much there before a walk out to Howth Castle. We took the train back to Dublin centre, a few early evening snaps near the river, then back to the hotel to get ready for our last night in Dublin. Boo Hoo.
